Our Team

Born in the Yukon Territory, Canada, Dr Rasmuson studied science and philosophy at the University of Calgary before entering medicine. On completion of her surgical specialty training in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she had a practice in high and low risk obstetrics and general gynaecology in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Following her move to Australia, she focused on gynaecology and IVF and in 2011 she opened Care Gynaecology in Albury to offer care to patients with infertility, menstrual disturbances, menopause issues, pre-cancer cervix changes, urinary incontinence and prolapse. Dr Rasmuson is passionate about providing a supportive and caring environment for all patients and caregivers.

In addition to running her own private practice she works in conjunction with Monash IVF, where she holds the position of Regional Clinical Director and offers infertility/IVF services through Monash IVF Albury.

Dr Rasmuson enjoys rural life with her family on a property a short distance from Albury.

Dr Rasmita Mishra conducts a general Women’s Health Clinic one day each month, to provide care in all areas of general and complex gynaecological treatment. Working in collaboration with Dr Rasmuson, if any specialist gynaecological management is required during treatment, Dr Rasmuson will step in.

During her training as a General Practitioner, Dr Mishra worked in numerous hospitals throughout Australia. In 2015 she returned to the Albury Wodonga area, an area she knew well having grown up here, to complete her training. She then took on further studies in obstetrics and women’s health.

As well as the monthly clinic conducted at Care Gynaecology, Dr Mishra provides general and obstetric services in Wodonga and outlying regional towns.

A referral from your doctor is not required for an appointment with Dr Mishra and the consultation is partially claimable from Medicare.

Andrea is a qualified registered nurse, committed to the provision of excellent care of Care Gynaecology’s patients.

Andrea has worked with Dr Rasmuson since the commencement of Care Gynaecology in 2011. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinical side of the practice and enjoys the variety of work involved.

Andrea has a very active family life and especially enjoys socialising.
